Every November, something powerful happens at CIEL Textile.
We Act for our Community.
This year, 2,700+ lives felt the impact.
One Motto. Hundreds of human moments!
Across Mauritius, India, Madagascar, and Bangladesh, our day was packed, and our motto was simple:
Inclusion is not a rule at CIEL Textile, it’s a habit, a way of showing up.
So, we showed up for our local communities to make a positive change in their lives.
Weaving Inclusion
Our Woven cluster turned inclusion into action with real support, real impact, and real moments of care.
In India, the teams at Aquarelle and Laguna kept things simple: show up, help people, and spread kindness.
Here’s how they did it:

Supporting people with special needs
They also spent time with the local transgender community, took children with physical challenges out for a fun day and filled classrooms with games and confidence-boosting moments.
Small actions, big smiles!
In Aquarelle Mauritius, teams kept the spirit strong, turning inclusion into art! Teams spent the day painting with kids at a local school and hosting sessions on diversity, because acceptance starts when we listen.
And over in Madagascar, it was all about health, hygiene, and human connection.
They ran a health camp and hygiene-education sessions for school children; the basics that build healthier futures.
Cotona Madagascar spent the day with children at centers for intellectual challenges, bringing learning materials, stories from their own teams, and plenty of smiles. They also handed out fun upcycled kits made from waste. It was a day of connection, laughter, and inclusion done with real heart.
Care that feels close
Our Knitwear cluster turned inclusion into moments of joy and learning.
Floreal Mauritius gave children an adventure they’ll talk about for years — a behind-the-scenes airport tour, a trip to the National History Museum, a glass-bottom boat ride, and a sunny beach day at Blue Bay!
For many kids, it was their first time seeing airplanes up close or spotting colorful fish swimming under their feet. Pure wonder!
Floreal Bangladesh and FSM Mauritius kept things simple but important: They ran free medical camps for the nearby communities.
People from nearby communities walked in for general checkups, chats with specialists, tips to handle chronic conditions, blood grouping, and quick diabetes screenings.
They walked in for basic checkups and walked out with peace of mind.
And because staying healthy starts outside the clinic, the team went a step further.
Floreal Bangladesh team carried out mosquito fumigation across the neighborhoods — keeping dengue and other mosquito-borne diseases at bay and making homes feel just a little safer.
Big hearts, big energy
Our Fine-Knits cluster brought the noise, the color, and the kindness, all in one sweep!
Tropic Mauritius threw a market fair for underprivileged families, gifts for kids, laughter everywhere.
Tropic Reunion brought generations together with stories, games, and shared smiles between elderly residents and children.
Tropic India team rolled up their sleeves at an orphanage — cleaning, giving essentials, and ending the day with cake and fun.
CDL Mauritius also had an awesome day: lunch with elders, badminton with orphanage kids, food for families, campfires, accessibility experiences, culture sharing, inclusion pledges, and tree planting.
A day made of smiles
Not just events — these were moments that mattered, smiles that lingered, kindness that grew.
One day made up of hundreds of small, human moments...
Kids seeing the ocean for the first time.
Families getting clean water.
Elders sharing stories.
Students receiving books.
Communities feeling seen and supported.
That’s the magic of Act for Our Community.
Not the size.
Not the list of activities.
But the heart behind every single action.
