Inspiring success story: from maintenance officer to Head of Department | Ciel Textile Website

Babu joined the Aquarelle India family in 2009 as a motivated maintenance officer. He was part of a small team of 6, working hard to keep 160 machines running smoothly. But Babu had bigger dreams and wanted to learn more. 

His face lights up when his boss invited him to the Chairman’s Manufacturing Excellence Awards (CMEA) in 2010. This event was a game-changer for Babu. It was the perfect occasion for him to see the bigger picture of the manufacturing world within the CIEL Textile group. “What I learnt there changed my work style with passion and pride”, he says with a smile. 

Inspired by this experience, Babu took on new challenges and showed great initiative. His dedication paid off, and he eventually became the Head of Maintenance in 2017. But the story’s far from over. He is passionate about learning and sharing what he knows. While he’s proud to say that every day he discovers more about the skills and attitude that make a team shine, he also uses his role to help others chase their dreams.
