Bright futures: How Aquarelle, Laguna, and Tropic are transforming children’s lives in India | Ciel Textile Website

Did you know that India is home to around 310 million kids under the age of 12? That’s a lot of young minds with endless potential! At CIEL Textile, we’re all about giving these kids the best shot at a bright future.

This year, our teams in India (Aquarelle, Laguna, and Tropic) joined forces to improve the children's health, education, and overall well-being, and make a real difference in their lives.

Health and wellness initiatives: Because every kid deserves to thrive

Our teams at Laguna India have been super busy making sure kids stay healthy and safe. They organized medical and eye check-ups for 110 students at Chandra Mohan Residential School. And guess what? 25 kids got their very first pair of glasses! Along with that, Laguna teams held fun workshops on healthy eating habits and important topics such as awareness about good touch vs. bad touch.

Education: Opening doors to a brighter future

Aquarelle India is all about making education accessible: they’ve sponsored the education of over 200 underprivileged children, including 80 visually impaired students at Sri Rakum School, orphaned kids at Madilu Sevashram and Ashirwad Foundation, and 100 differently-abled students at Deepa Academy. And to top it off, both Aquarelle and Laguna teams made sure every student had the stationery they needed for school.

Fun and joy: Bringing smiles to little faces

Tropic India knows that a little fun goes a long way. They organized a fantastic event at Families for Children orphanage. The day was filled with activities like a magic show, games, and tasty meals. 110 factory members joined in to bring joy to 200 children, and it was a day filled with laughter and smiles.
